  Reflection 8 (6/05/2022) In this session, we have looked into the co-constructive tool and the benefits of using it in the classroom. A co-construction tool is an approach, where it emphasizes collaboration, and partnership working in a group or with a peer rather than working independently to construct meaning. It is the concept that students can use to help them learn from others and expand their knowledge. Students use technology to share their ideas, discuss their thoughts, and work together through online discussions or chats. Examples of the information tool: Social Media Apps, the Internet, Encyclopedia, Books, journals, articles, and educational websites.  Reflection 5 During the sixth session, we learned about the information tool, its benefit in integrating it in the classroom, and the various formats of the informative tool. Informative tools are applications that provide large amounts of information in various formats such as text, graphics, sound, or video. Communicative tool

 Communicative tool (གོ་བརྡ་སྤྲོད་ལག་ཆས།) refers to the two way communication between the sender and receiver. There is two types of communicative tool: Synchronous communication and Asynchronous communication.  Synchronous communication: refers to the real time or happening at the same time online. Students use  technology tools to connect new information to their prior knowledge rather than passively receive information . ICT integration is understood as the usage of technology seamlessly for educational processes like transacting curricular content and students working on technology to do authentic tasks. Nowadays ICT facilitates not only the delivery of the lessons but also reinforces, supplements, and extends the skills. There is three level of integration of technologies in the classroom; basic level, middle level, and high level of technology integration.    2 nd  Session Reflection (8/03/2022) As time passes, there is a certain change in the learning style of the individual learners. In the past learners acquire most of their knowledge from the community with the means of using newspapers, textbooks, and the people around them. With the change in time, students had become independent learners and as they are being considered the digital native they gather information using the technologies and other modes of communication channels such as social media. Moreover, the role of a teacher is just to act as a facilitator whereby integrating with ICT tools such as video tutorials, web links, and interactive learning activities and then learners take the ownership of the learning by themselves. It can be also defined as the norms of appropriate, responsible behavior concerning technology use. Moreover, it is how we should act while using digital tools and interacting with others online to use technology in an appropriate, responsible, and empowered way. Introduction to EDN419 module

  Session 1 (1/03/2022) As the semester has started today, the introductory meeting was vital as it opens our eyes to the world of the ICT module and its components as well as the whole semester plans. This session was pivotal as it gave me the blueprint of what will happen during this semester, particularly in the EDN419 module. We had discussed how best we could sail and respond to the pandemic, online teaching, and more importantly module engagements and their assessments.  ICT (Information and communication technology) to me is the part of the everyday language used in the 21st century which has already been diverse types of innovations taking place in the world and stresses the role of unified communications, moreover, the integration of telecommunications and the computers. To embed ready made PPT to the blog the procedures involved are: Go to the google app Click on google drive  Upload the PPT file from the destination source (Desktop/Document)  Go to my drive and upload the file 5. open the PPT or double click on the PPT  Go to the file  Click on publish to the web  Choose the embed option Click on the two check box button and copy the link then go to the blog (write title) Click on HTML view  Paste the link  Set the width and height of the PPT ( eg. width: 700, height 600)  Then click on publish Preview Post If the PPT does not work, click on publish, confirm, then click on read more.
