Session 1 (1/03/2022)
As the semester has started today, the introductory meeting was vital as it opens our eyes to the world of the ICT module and its components as well as the whole semester plans. This session was pivotal as it gave me the blueprint of what will happen during this semester, particularly in the EDN419 module. We had discussed how best we could sail and respond to the pandemic, online teaching, and more importantly module engagements and their assessments.
ICT (Information and communication technology) to me is the part of the everyday language used in the 21st century which has already been diverse types of innovations taking place in the world and stresses the role of unified communications, moreover, the integration of telecommunications and the computers. Stating these facts with this module, I look forward to learning instructional modes associated with computer-based instructions, using the web as a teaching tool in the classrooms, designing learning activities using educational software, and ideas in using ICT as an effective teaching and learning tool.
